Laser Diagnostic Techn Ques at Poly - Technic Institute of New York Aero - Space Facilities

A short discussion of some conventional diagnostic techniques, followed by a discussion of the Raman effect and the laser Doppler anemometer, is given. The apparatus used at PINY and the techniques developed utilizing the Raman effect are described.
